The two cities are roughly 570 km apart, a 9-to-10-hour drive up the NH44. For a dedicated truck, packing happens on day one and your things usually arrive the next day, sometimes the same evening for a small load. A shared truck takes longer, anywhere from two to five days, because the driver picks up and drops other consignments along the way.
Shared truck vs dedicated: the real trade-off
A dedicated truck carries only your goods. It's faster, there's less handling, and nothing gets mixed up with another family's boxes, but you pay for the whole vehicle. A shared truck splits the cost across several moves, so it's cheaper, but it's slower and your things are loaded and unloaded more than once.
Rule of thumb: if you have a full 2 or 3 BHK, or anything fragile and expensive, take the dedicated truck. If you're moving a 1 BHK on a budget and you're not in a hurry, sharing can save you a fair bit.
